Principle Cleaning Services highlights the time-consuming nature of refreshing data in Excel compared to the near-instant updates in Sage Intacct, which facilitates real-time reporting. Although they haven't conducted a formal analysis of time saved since switching to Sage Intacct, they emphasise the noticeable efficiency gains, and how certain processes have become more streamlined.
"When we're running our reports on Excel, we have to sort of press a refresh button, and it can take several minutes for it to load up, whereas on Intacct, it's almost instant. Any adjustments we're making as we're working through the accounts, we would then have to go through that same process of refreshing our data. Whereas on Intacct, it's very much live. So you would rerun the report, and within a second or two, you would have your report back up with your updated figures."

The seamless integration between Sage Intacct and Templa transformed Principle Cleaning Services' financial operations. Automation of sales invoicing and customer record creation eliminated manual processes, saving time and reducing the risk of errors. This integration streamlined operations, enabling the finance team to focus on value-added tasks and strategic initiatives.
"Because of Sage Intacct, we're able to process the next set of journals—a lot of the general ledger stuff—a lot quicker. For example, the wage journals coming through our CRM system can now be automated. Previously, they were run on a CSV file, and we had to import them manually. Now, that process has become much quicker, and in turn, we're finding that we can push our deadline to close our month-end accounts sooner."
