What is CIS/CITB for Sage 200?

  • Construction Industry Scheme & the Construction Industry Training Board.
  • Integrated into Sage 200 Professional, supported the tax deduction of subcontractor transactions.
  • Maintain subcontractor information against the supplier, including HMRC verification and liability insurance.
  • Automatically generates credit note against the supplier for a percentage of the labour value. Ensuring the tax value is held back when the invoice is being paid. The transaction is then flagged in the system for CIS return submission.
  • Once submitted electronically through the system, generate a report for the subcontractor highlighting all the invoices and relevant CIS payments submitted on their behalf.
