In these strange times have no fear, our Sage 200 Reports blog is here! Welcome to the next quarterly blog for the reports released during winter 2020.

If you are one of our regular readers then carry on to the reports and see what goodies Sage has released for you. If this is your first time, here is a quick rundown of the blog.

As well as your three free reports you can claim from Sage, they also release monthly reports that cover a wide range of modules. We take a look at these reports for you and try our best to describe what they can do for you every quarter! These reports are known as the ‘Report of the Month‘ and are released by Sage towards the start of the month. The reports, in particular, have either been suggested by end-users or requested by Sage Partners.

This quarterly blog is a quick summary of the information you can get within each report.

Unless otherwise stated all the reports available are compatible with Sage 200cloud Ver. 8 (2011 Service Pack 7).

The reports cover all parts of Sage (Invoicing, Sale Ledger, Nominal Ledger, Manufacturing, etc…) and the best part, each and every one of these reports are free to be added into your system by your business partner (hopefully us).

Now, let’s take a look at the offerings this time:

January: Nominal Ledger Budgets Only

Module: Nominal Ledger

To start us off is the January report. This report will slot into your Nominal Ledger and it relates to your budgets. The report is designed to show all nominal codes which have a budget allocation and monthly breakdown. This report is useful as it acts as a quick reference list for nominals and the budgets they have.

February: Invoiced Monthly Net Sales by Product Group and Stock Code

Module: Sales Order Processing

The second report for Winter was released in February. The title can be quite a mouthful but this report is for the Sales Order Processing module. This report is similar to the last report for the Purchase ledger that was dropped in October. This report is useful to look at which stock items have added the most turnover by month.

Where can you get the Reports from?

Do these reports sound like your cup of tea? If so, you can find them here. The web page has the full list of free reports – take a look and see what else you may have missed out on. It’s split into the various sections which include the Report of the Month, Archive, Free of Charge Report Library and the Wish List Report Library.

The Free of Charge Library has reports which Sage has created and made available to download for free. These are listed under each other modules in Sage 200cloud for you to access and look through easily. The Wish List Library is similar to the Free of Charge Library as these are also free but have been requested in the Ideas Hub from Sage 200cloud Customers. Sage has made these available and again, has listed them per module.

Once you have downloaded the report you want, you can use our guide “How to add a Report to your Menu”. Please refer to our full list of Sage 200 help and user guides, including “How to add a Report to your Menu”.

Conclusion

Remember, if you don’t find the report you are looking for you can always speak with Sage and request a report from them directly. As long as you are a member of Sage 200cloud Services then you get three free reports from Sage annually! Again, see our list of help and user guides on how to request this. If you have any questions about reporting in Sage 200cloud, or would like to learn to build your own reports why not take a look at our Sage 200 Report Designer Course.
