This release will see major updates, bringing new insights into how you use Intacct, enhancements to the existing applications, and new features.

Join us as we dive into the release highlights, starting with our Feature Spotlight!

Feature Spotlight – AP Automation

With the R3 Release, all regions will be able to access to the new AP Purchase Invoice Automation add-on feature.

AP Automation can improve and streamline your AP process and data entry saving you time. This is done by Intacct leveraging AI to automatically create AP Purchase invoices from an invoice document being emailed or imported into Sage Intacct.

This will reduce your team’s data entry in that the drafts will be populated with Supplier Details and details from the uploaded document. The team will see their responsibility change from data entry to reviewing and submitting.

In addition to this, Intacct will also inform you when errors are detected when uploading documents meaning users will be able to amend small errors and post quickly.

Release highlights

Originating Documents in workflows

In this release, Sage is improving the visibility when in the purchasing workflow by introducing new fields; “Source Document ID” and “Originating document ID”.

Originating Documents in workflows in Sage Intacct

These fields will update as you progress through the workflow; the Originating Document ID will update with the ID of the first document in the workflow. The Source Document ID is more dynamic in that it will update with the ID of the previous step in the workflow.

This means this update will work for you regardless of how complex your workflow can be.

Launch of Usage Insights

A new feature coming to Intacct in this release is the new Usage Insights. This new tool is designed to provide real-time data and actionable insights in an easy-to-use dashboard format.

You can use this new tool to track and analyse Customer/Supplier growth,  have visibility of Subscriptions and Logins, and more.

New call-to-action

Create dimension-only contracts

For those teams currently using the Revenue Management application in Intacct, the new release will now be bringing a dimension-only version of Contracts. This new dimension with enable you to create a simplified, non-posting version of a contract that you can tag against transactions for reporting purposes.

Un-apply Credits in Posted Payments

This improvement comes directly from ideas shared by the Sage Intacct users and community.

You will now be able to un-apply credits from a posted payment when the credits are applied without an associated payment.

Further to this, you can now have better visibility of applied credits when viewing your posted payment details. From this new screen, you are even able to drill through to the credit detail by clicking the Credit No. in the table.
