If you’re a Sage Intacct user looking to get the most out of your system we want to make sure you are aware of all the free useful resources that are available to you! In this blog, I will be taking you through 2 useful and underused resources, the Sage Intacct Community and Sage University.

What is the Sage Intacct Community?

The Sage Intacct Community allows you to connect with colleagues as part of a community to access a variety of resources to help you with support-related questions. I will be talking you through how you can use the community to search knowledge articles for any frequently asked questions, issues and troubleshooting. I will also give you an overview of the resources and instructions on how to register and connect to the Community.

Why should you use the Sage Intacct community?

The Sage Intacct Community is a useful tool for you to quickly find answers and troubleshoot your queries. You can view articles based on previously asked questions that may be able to help you with your current query, for example, you can search ‘AP purchasing invoice won’t post’ or you can even search the error message you have had on an import file – This will then generate lots of useful articles and previously asked questions that will help you find your answer!

There is also a function on the articles where you can rate the answers on the most useful response

Sage’s support engineers are always adding and updating the community with the latest product information and enhancing the available content. This means you will have access to the most up-to-date and relevant information at the same time as our consultants!

One of my favourite reasons to utilise the community is that it’s full of Sage Intacct users just like you! It’s a great place for users to share knowledge, tips and best practices for specific scenarios and industries.

What is the Sage University?

Sage University (previously known and accessed by the Sage Intacct Learning Centre) is a platform that gives everyone within your organisation continuous, on-demand training courses and learning tools. You are able to create learning/progress paths to follow through your journey as well as earn certifications for completing modules.

The Learning Centre is suitable for anyone at any point in their Sage journey, you can take it right back to the basics or delve into the more complex learnings!

Why should you use Sage University?

Sage University is perfect if you are new to Sage Intacct or if you are interested in broadening your existing knowledge! It starts off with Sage Intacct fundamentals and navigation progressing into the more complex side of the system. I can speak from personal experience that when I was new to Sage Intacct, Sage University was a great way for me to gain base knowledge, enabling me to confidently navigate the system and understand the basics.

The best part about Sage University is that it’s completely free! When we onboard new Sage Intacct customers we recommend they enrol in Sage University as soon as possible and start creating some goals and learning paths. The sky really is the limit with the wide variety of training courses available on the platform!

My favourite thing about Sage University

Learning Paths and Sage Intacct Badges are my favourite things in Sage University! The learning paths help you track your progress as you develop your knowledge through your journey, making it easy for you to pick up where you have left off. We all love getting awarded for our hard work! Once you have completed a module, you take part in a knowledge check related to what you have learned. If you pass, you receive a Sage Intacct Badge! The badges are a fun incentive to help you work towards your goals and to encourage you to get to the end of your learning path, as humans we can’t help but enjoy collecting badges!
